Tue 13| ADAM RAFFERTY In just a few years Adam has become a YouTube  guitar sensation - his views are in the millions.  Among Adam's musical innovations is the ability to play 2 simultaneous melodies on the guitar and do hip hop flavoured "human beatbox" with his mouth at the same time.  Some say that his solo version of Herbie Hancock's "Chameleon" sounds like  the "guitarist with 3 heads".  It has to be heard to be believed. £8adv/10 


Wed 14| LOYD GROSSMAN and THE NEW FORBIDDEN Loyd Grossman's American punk band "Jet Bronx And The Forbidden" was a cult hit in the early 1980s, and it was in late 2007 that the band rose from the ashes with a new line-up as "The New Forbidden" With Loyd's 1968 Gibson guitar driving the music, The New Forbidden produce a wild, catchy sound with a modern angst-ridden edge, but the influence of the golden age of the UK/US New Wave stays as a rich thread through the material.  There are shades of Blondie, Iggy Pop, The Killers, The Damned, The Only Ones, Richard Hell, The Smiths and The Doors. £6


Thu15| TROUBADOUR ROSE PRESENTS THE APRIL THIEF Troubadour Rose take over the Half Moon for the night with their gorgeous alternative folk plus some very special guest bands FREE


Fri 16| BANG BANGS/ THE BLACK HAND GANG The Bang Bangs are three boy's one girl, guitars and drums who make lovely melodic noises.  The Black Hand Gang are Winners of The Road to Hogmanay competition.  They took to the stage at George Square on new years eve, following in the footsteps of Snow Patrol, Paolo Nutini and The View.  Combining hard-edged, gritty real-life with artistic innovation, dropping many a jaw amongst audience members. £5adv/6

Sun 18| JOHNNY WARMAN & GARY GRAINGER Johnny Warman and Gary Grainger (Strider) started writing together in 1984 and had a hit with "Don't go Where the Road Don't go" for Ringo Star.  Performing together, expect a bluesy mix of world class slide guitar and electric guitar. Plus acoustic guitar and brilliant vocals £10

Tue 20| AARON WRIGHT/ ZEMMY Broken Record Showcase night featuring 19 year old singer songwriter from Edinburgh Aaron Wright and his backing band who have had growing success in Edinburgh and Glasgow. Support from London based Zemmy and her band. £5


Wed 21| APPLES FOR EVERYONE/ SHEPPERTONES/ JUROJIN Apples for everyone bring their melodic folk punk.  Supported by The Sheppertones' fresh melodic folk and Jurojin's who mix a rock singer, a classical Indian tabla player, a jazz bassist, and a metal guitar player to form an unlikely combination that has been gathering attention and critical acclaim since their live debut in June of 2008 at London's Borderline club £4adv/5

Fri 23 | ANDREW RANKEN & THE MYSTERIOUS WHEELS/ MOSQUITO/ ELEVEN FABLES Andrew Ranken is a British drummer, best known as the percussionist for the British-Irish band The Pogues. This time Andrew leads the band on vocals , augmented by lifelong friends Tom Anthony , Joe and Simon Korner, and Paul Seacroft. They are supported by two Americana and modern folk bands £5adv/6
