      Season Greetings Halfmooners

      First we'd like to say a huge MERRY CHRISTMAS & A HAPPY NEW YEAR to all of our valued customers and supporters. And also an even huger THANK YOU for what's been on overwhelming show of support to keep us open after 31st January. The campaign has really gained momentum with our Official Save The Halfmoon Facegroup Group now at 6,000 members. The messages we've received on our forum, Facebook group and petitions reflect the general feeling that turning this legendary live music venue into a gastro-pub would be disastrous.

      We've also been quite touched by the support from some of the bigger named artists and bands coming down in January to make their statement of support - by playing here. Harry Hill, Ezio, Miles Hunt and many others didn't hesitate to come down at short notice on hearing of the Halfmoon's closure.

      So we wish you all a wonderfull Christmas, and let's hope that whatever happens to the Halfmoon after 31st January, whoever takes over the premises, that it remains what it has always been - a music venue.

      NEW YEAR'S EVE

      Tickets are on sale for this year's Halfmoon New Year's Eve Party. Live music will be provided by one of our favourite's - The Incredibly Strange Film Band, performing funky film and TV Themes the likes of Shaft, Sesame Street and The Sweeney. The dress code is film and TV star, so be imaginative. There'll be a free buffet and prizes for the best costumes. We're also having a draw to win a guitar signed by many of the big names we've had at the Halfmoon recently including The Wonder Stuff, Ocean Colour Scene and many more.

      The party kicks off at 8:00pm till late. Tickets are £20.
